The Thing About Men
By Elizabeth Bevarly

Claire Willoughby is the host of a nationwide TV show. Her number one fan is Eleanor Sage. Eleanor writes Claire constantly and sends her pictures of her thirteen-month old daughter, Anabel.

When Eleanor unexpectedly dies, Claire's is dismayed to discover that she has been named Anabel's guardian. Claire must raise her or Anabel will become a ward of the state. Claire herself is a product of "the system." She cannot allow that to happen to another child. She must keep Anabel or locate Eleanor's absentee brother, Ramsey.

Ramsey left his family when he was 18, and he never looked back. When his father died, Ramsey was nowhere to be found. He was drunk inside a seedy bar. The same was true when his mother died. Now his sister is dead. When the private investigator finally locates him, Ramsey is at the bar in the middle of a drunken brawl.

Learning that his only living relative is being raised by a complete stranger, Ramsey wastes no time. He roars up to Claire's house on his Harley, ready to bring his niece home. Unfortunately, his ratty jeans, scruffy boots, tattoo, and busted lip make a poor impression on the visiting social worker. Anabel is certainly not going home with Ramsey today, and she probably never will.

Claire can't take her eyes off the man who appears at her door, wanting to take away poor Anabel On the one hand, there is no way she will ever allow this wild-man to lay a finger on little Anabel. On the other hand, Claire would like for him to lay his fingers and a whole lot more on her!

This book will delight Elizabeth Bevarly's many fans. It is filled with her unique brand of humor. The laughter begins in the first chapter and continues throughout the book. The sexual tension in this story is very intense. From the moment Claire and Ramsey lay eyes on each other, the sparks begin to fly. When Claire and Ramsey finally make love, the ink melts off the page! This is one fantastic book!
