Where Is He Now?
By Jennifer Greene

Fifteen years ago, high school sweethearts Nate Donelli and Jeanne Claire Cassiday had big dreams, but life intruded before either could accomplish their goals. His father's death forced Nate to sacrifice everything for the sake of his family. Jeanne spent her life meeting everybody else's expectations. Their imminent class reunion encourages both to take a hard look at life. Is it too late to reach for stars? More importantly, can they still reach for each other and, this time, find the strength to hold on?

Readers of Where Is He Now? get two romances for the price of one. Tamara, Jeanne's best friend and the class rebel, learns her past doesn't have to limit her future; Arnold, the class nerd cum millionaire, finds the courage to pursue his long held love for Tam.

Where Is He Now? is a well-written, character driven novel. Nate is the classic Italian stallion; Jeanne is the quintessential high school darling. Ms. Greene does an excellent job staying in the character’s point of view and makes smooth transitions at the appropriate times. The plot is solid but don't look for any heart racing excitement—even the black moment borders on charcoal gray—but it's a cozy read, perfect for a relaxing afternoon diversion.
