His
Every Kiss
By
Laura Lee Guhrke
A
symphony for a romance lover's soul!
Dylan
Moore, renowned English composer, once heard future melodies in
his head, but an accident has changed the music to an incessant
ringing. Unable to endure any longer, he goes to the theater where
he once conducted and aims a pistol at his chin. Just before he
pulls the trigger, he hears the charwoman play his composition on
her violin. In her presence, the mental screeching sweetens to beautiful
notes, but his muse vanishes before he can learn her name.
Grace
Cheval had ruined her and her family's reputation by eloping with
a French painter. Since his death, Grace has struggled to survive.
The last thing she needs is another tormented artist who calls her
his muse, yet that's exactly what Mr. Moore continues to proclaim
when they reunite five years after his suicide attempt. She refuses
his proposition to become his mistress, but his offer to become
governess to his daughter is too good to pass up.
Dylan
is determined to seduce Grace, but she has resolved to keep their
relationship platonic. For how long can she deny her desire when
his mere presence makes her heart and body sing? Will she ever lay
the memories of her marriage to rest? Can he win her passion without
losing his heart? Moreover, is he capable of becoming the man Grace
and his daughter deserve?
Ms.
Guhrke answers these questions and more in a beautifully written
novel fraught with sexual tension. Well developed characters have
crystal clear goals and motivations, and their internal and external
conflicts are perfectly natural rather than obviously contrived.
Isabel, Dylan's daughter, is a precocious darling. Grace is practical
and confident. Dylan is one hot hero. The black moment, when Grace's
past come backs to haunt them both, is perfect. Start reading His
Every Kiss in the morning; this page turner won't allow you
to put it down before you've read the final page.
