Lady In Waiting

By Kathryn Caskie

Genevieve Penny (or Jenny, as she is called) is a lady's maid for the Featherton sisters. However, she is also the maker of the tingle cream, a substance that is beginning to be the rave of the town. What started out as a facial balm that Jenny came up with by mixing ingredients together quickly became known as the tingle cream, when someone decided to use the cream in a totally different way from what it was intended.

Now Jenny is having to make more and more of the fabulous cream, while trying to perform her other duties and being involved as the Featherton sister's new project.

A real lady is something Jenny ahs always wanted to be, so when the Sisters introduce her to Scottish Marquis Callum Campbell, Lord Argyll (as Lady Genevieve) Jenny is more than happy to be whisked around to all the town parties and treated like a real lady.

However, when she begins to fall in love with Callum she wonder how she will keep him from finding her true identity. She know that when she is discovered not to be a real lady that Callum will want nothing else to do with her.

Lady in Waiting is one book that will definitely tickle your funny bone. With Jenny's and the popularity of the tingle cream, this is definitely one book that will have you laughing from the beginning to end. Kathryn Caskie truly has a way with writing plots and making characters that will keep you completely entertained.
