Let It Be Love
by Victoria Alexander
Fiona Fairchild is desperate to marry a man of her choice. When her father passed away
he had his Will made so that neither she nor her sisters would get anything of their fortune
until Fiona weds. He even chose the man for her to marry, something Fiona refuses to do.
Therefore, she is determined to find her own husband. Upon returning to England, she
gets her cousin Oliver to help in her search. Remembering a discussion he had with his
good friend Jonathon Effington the Marquess of Helmsley, Oliver inspires Fiona to set
her sights on Jonathon for a husband.
Jonathon is used to women throwing themselves at him. Therefore, it was no surprise
to find a strange woman in his home, although he is surprised when he hears her ask him
to marry her. Thinking it is a joke from his friends, he says yes, never imagining that
the woman is a real lady and very serious. However, he soon learns who she really is
and finds that he must keep his word to marry her to avoid a scandal.
Let It Be Love is a wonderfully funny, well-written story that will have you
laughing and enjoying every page of this book. Once again, Ms. Alexander has given us
one magnificently, superbly entertaining book, and a great read for the holidays that
no one will want to miss. |
