Lucy
Symons has always found that instead of meeting "Mr. Right,"
she always finds "Mr. Wrong." Her inability to find true
love has her questioning her judgment in her taste in men. When
her Aunt Adele invites her to her bed and breakfast, she accepts
for the change of scenery and the chance at getting away from her
latest relationship disaster.
Victim's
Advocate Steve Marucci is battling the inner demons that were caused
by the death of one of his clients. He feels he should have been
able to prevent the tragedy from occurring. The occurrence has him
questioning his ability to do his job. He goes to Adele's B&B
to try and work through his self-doubt that is threatening his career.
It's no coincidence that Lucy and
Steve are bought together at the B&B at the same time, for Aphrodite
has sent Eros to Earth in the guise of Adele. His job is to ensure
that the couple is united before Valentine's Day. With just two
days left before the holiday, he has his work cut out for him because
the two feel they are unworthy of love.
Nicked
By Eros is a prime example that good things do come in small
packages. This book is exceptionally written, and provides a delightful
escape from the stresses of everyday life. The characters are so
deserving of love that you want to wrap your arms around them and
encourage their union. I look forward to reading more of this highly
addictive author's future books.
