The Parisian Affair

by Judith Gould

Allegra Sheridan's jewelry business is in trouble. After the years of building her jewelry design business, she is afraid she is going to have to close and lose everything she has worked for. That is until a she is asked by billionaire Hilton Whitehead to make a trip to Paris to bid on the exquisite Princes Karima's emeralds.

After lying to her boyfriend Todd, Allegra goes to Paris to bid on the emeralds and actually has them in her possession. She never considered the problems the emeralds would bring as she finds herself being shot at, as someone wants the emeralds. Soon it is apparent that people will do anything to get their hands on these jewels even if it includes murder.

Although I found this book a little slow to grab my attention, I kept reading and was very glad that I did. As I found this to be one of the best romantic suspense stories that I have read in quite a while. The Parisian Affair is definitely one book you will not want to miss.
