Prince of Danger

by Amanda Scott

Lady Isobel Macleod loves to ride alone through her father's land when she is visiting, however this time things turn out different as she comes across men using a whip on another man, and while trying to decide what to do to help, she is also captured. After escaping, Isobel has no option but to hide with the Michael. She knows a lady such as herself should not be alone with a man for any reason, but since she has no plans to ever marry, she does not consider this a problem.

Michaels is thankful that Isobel is such a sensible girl and willing to help him, although he is worried about what will happen once her father or foster father, Hector, discover she has traveled alone with him. Little does Isobel know is that Michael believes she is the most beautiful woman and the only one that he has ever had thoughts of wanting to marry. Nevertheless, he must continue on his quest to discover a family secret, one that has turned out to be very dangerous.

Once again, Ms. Scott proves what a wonderfully gifted writer she is. With each turn of the page, Price of Danger is one book you will not be able to put down. With characters that leap out at you and a plot that will entrance you, this is definitely one book for the keeper shelf.
