Puppy Love

By Stephanie Bedwell-Grime

Emerald Douglas is experiencing one of the worst days in her life. First, her work situation is getting on her last nerve. Next, her boyfriend decides he is ready to break out of their relationship and see other people. Finally, she receives a notice that her building is being torn down.

The one bright spot in her miserable day comes in the form of a lost dog. She sympathizes with his homelessness for she can understand its sense of being abandoned and takes it home to care for it. She grows to enjoy the company it provides her. One day while she is walking in the park she sees the lost dog's poster and her world changes unexpectedly.

She meets the dog's owner Cody Martin. He is grateful for his return of his son's dog. To show his appreciation, he offers to buy her a cup of coffee. During their Cup of Joe, she hears the loneliness in his voice and the sees the haunted look in his eyes. The more time they spends together the closer they get to know one another. The simple solution to their hearts' desires lies in a very playful pup and a small boy.

Stephanie Grime has penned a very sweet story of two people coming together when they need it most in each other's lives. This is a wonderful story that is sure to touch your heart. With well-developed characters you can't help but love, this is one book you do not want to miss.
