Hard Evidence

by Pamela Clare

Tessa Novak is a young, single, investigative reporter with the local newspaper in Denver. On a late work night, while stopping for coffee, Tessa becomes involved in an investigation beyond her control. A young girl runs into the store and is shot to death in front of her. She glimpses a man in a leather jacket out in the parking lot. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she decides she needs to find out why this girl was murdered in such a horrific manner and who the man in the leather jacket is.

Tessa learns more than she bargained for when she discovers the man in the jacket is an undercover agent by the name of Julian Darcangelo. He finds Tessa is more than he can handle when her insistence on covering this story makes her a target of the killer. Julian now must find a way to track the killer and keep Tessa safe. Can he stop himself from falling in love with her? Tessa has an effect on the cold-hearted Julian that just might change both their lives.

This was a hard to put down book with an exciting story line as the killer is unmasked and Julian and Tessa’s relationship develops. They need Hard Evidence to catch this killer and Julian needs her to bring him out of his lonely existence into a life and a love he didn't know could exist for him.
