The Heir

by Tara Manderino

Amelia literally stumbled over the man as she ran to make sure her father Michael was ok after yet another experiment exploded.  After telling her father of the man she stumbled over, she took him to where the dead man lay.  Only this man is not dead although he does not seem far from it.

Sebastian awakens to no memory of who or what he is, although he does soon remember his first name.  Thankful for Amelia and her father’s kindness Sebastian tries to control his feelings for Amelia, as without his memory he does not know who he actually is.  When the family leaves the country to move to Town, Sebastian remembers who he actually is. However he keeps it to himself, as he will have to fight the man who tried to have him killed for his family title.  Although nothing can stay a secret as it is soon apparent that someone wants him out of the way and will do whatever they can to accomplish their goal, even if it includes getting to Sebastian through Amelia.

For an outstanding read, that will keep readers glued to the pages The Heir is a magnificent book that you will not want to miss.  With a hero and heroine that you will love and the secondary characters that will have you laughing, this book is definitely one to keep to read repeatedly.  This was my first time to read a book by Ms. Manderino and I am glad I did as The Heir, in my opinion, is one of the best stories you will read this year. Magnificently written story and characters.
