I'm In No Mood For Love
by Rachel Gibson
Clare Wingate is still reeling from walking in on her fiancé and the washing machine repairman when she wakes up in
a hotel room with smooth-talking Sebastian Vaughan, a man she hasn’t seen in twenty years. Talk about adding insult
to injury. Clare vows to end her pattern of self-destructive behavior and swears off men and love. Easier said than
done when it comes to Sebastian. Despite his assurances to Clare that nothing happened between them, he can’t get
Clare off his mind. So begins the verbal sparring and red hot attraction between Clare and Sebastian.
I’m In No Mood For Love starts with a bang and doesn’t disappoint. The characters come alive and the
relationships ring true. From Clare’s strained relationship with her mother, Sebastian’s distant relationship with
his father, and the reluctant relationship of Clare and Sebastian, Rachel Gibson has created characters who talk,
think and interact with one another in a way that pulls the reader right into the story.
As a newcomer to the work of Rachel Gibson, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was a completely enjoyable
read with thoroughly believable characters and a fun, sexy, entertaining story that kept me turning the pages. I
will definitely be looking for more from Rachel Gibson. |
