The Lady’s Code

by Samantha Saxon

Lady Juliet Pervill’s reputation is ruined, after one of her dreadful father’s enemies makes sure she is found in a compromising position.  With her reputation in shreds, Juliet can only do what any Lady would, she confronts her father in front of the entire Ton.  Then, although everyone is still talking, she decides to put her education to work.

Seamus McCurren has struggled to figure out a mysterious code at the Foreign Office.  The last thing he ever expected was for a woman to be hired to assist him, and not just to assist, but to work right along beside him. What is even more surprising is that this woman is a math wiz.

Although Seamus is unhappy with the turn of events, he can’t seem to stop himself from wanting Juliet in a way that he has never wanted any woman before

Juliet wants nothing to do with men.  However, the more she works with Seamus, the more her attraction for him grows; as does his attraction for her.  Together they will solve the mysteryamid rising danger.

The Lady’s Code is an amazing book, one not to be missed.  Readers will love Juliet’s attitude of taking her life in her own hands at a time when that was unheard of.  Ms. Saxon is a remarkable storyteller and has given fans a  book that will keep them glued to the pages from beginning until end. Magnificently written story and characters.
