Lord Ryburn's Apprentice
by Laurie Bishop
Lord Hugh Ryburn is determined to find out more about his great aunt's new ward, Georgiana
Marland, before the family is completely embarrassed. However, his aunt asks for his help
in teaching Georgiana how to be a lady. Naturally Hugh is the perfect person for this since
if there is one thing he knows about, it is the behavior of the society's young ladies.
Although he is worried about Georgiana's background, it is certainly no hardship to be
around such a beautiful girl.
Georgiana is content to be a teacher at a girls' school. After all, she had no choice
when her mother disappeared. Now, however, with the letter from Lady Estcott, she leaves
the school thinking she will be working in the lady's household. Georgiana is in for a
surprise when she learns Lady Estcott has other plans; she wants to present Georgiana
into society as her ward. With everything happening so fast, Georgiana is beside herself
with worry, especially when she meets and learns Lady Estcott's great nephew, Hugh, is
to be her teacher.
Sweet and romantic, Lord Ryburn's Apprentice is a story not to be missed. Ms.
Bishop is one writer who can have you laughing, crying and enjoying a story from the
beginning till the end. |
