Popp In Seduced by the Night, Dr. Bethany Stavinoski, a biochemist, is in high demand... by some vampires looking for her talents in their lab and also by her lab-owning fiancé, wanting her to quickly duplicate a "drug" which she's not quite sure about. This story was absolutely intriguing and a little bit dark. It's a very entertaining and suspenseful love story. The characters are deep and very interesting. Dirk Adams, a human who is half vampire becomes Bethany's protector. He watches at first from afar and hunts vampires that are trying to hurt the doctor and then becomes a full time bodyguard... the heat and attraction between the two of them becomes apparent. If you like romances like this, you'll enjoy this book. I'm not really into stories about vampires, but the description of it intrigued me to check it out. |
