You
Can't Hide
Chicago
Series #5
by Karen Rose
Right off the bat, Karen Rose has you enthralled in the lives of her characters in You
Can't Hide. Her character, Tess Ciccotelli, is a psychiatrist and someone is torturing
her patients, pushing them to the brink and making them commit suicide. All the evidence
is pointing towards her and the police force isn't really buying her claims of innocence...
at first. After dealing with Aiden Reagen, a detective on the case, and his coldness, the
last thing you would expect is a steamy romance to evolve but it does and soon Aiden is
there protecting her from this absolutely terrifying experience, by her side no matter
what the evidence is pointing to. First patients, and then no one is safe after a stranger,
who talked with Tess in passing, is found murdered.
The mastermind behind this is one that will shock you. I was not expecting
it and when you do find out, you want to think that it's not true.
It can't be. I think that makes this book one of the best I've read.
Unpredictable, intriguing and entertaining; this book was hard to
put down. The love story and the mystery are perfectly written together.
I really recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a smart
read. Karen Rose has quickly become one of my favorite authors.
