Christmas Spirit

by Rebecca Anderson

How do a spirit and a corporeal being get it together? By accident seems to work pretty well. Minutes after the death of her grandfather, Diana Christmas is stumbling through the hospital trying to find an exit. At the same time Alex White is trying to get the hang of navigation without a body and stumbles straight through Diana! She shivers from the impact and he is a changed spirit when their two souls separate. He knows has been left on earth to help Diana, he doesn’t know how, but he’s here to help!

Is it to be a friend to Emma, Diana’s 5-year old daughter whose physical ears are deaf, but who can see and hear Alex with her mind?

Is it to give Diana business and financial advice to convert Christmas House into a B&B?

Is it to prevent Diana from making the biggest mistake of her life?

Life with a spirit and a 5-year old in the house is never dull, although it can still be lonely on a chilly night. Both Diana and Alex wish that they had met under different circumstances. I believed in the relationship between Diana and Alex and even though I should have been ready for the ending, I wasn’t. It took me totally off guard because I was so wrapped up in the "here and now" of the story and the lives of the characters.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you have to wait for the Holidays to pick this one up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
