Dark Prince

by Eve Silver

The sea had claimed another life in its unforgiving, bottomless tomb. Jane Heatherington’s problems seemed small compared to the lifeless, battered body of a woman who was pulled from the sea. Who she was and what circumstances had lead to her untimely death was all a mystery.

Jane had once lived a normal life until the day she found out her father was deep in debt and his creditors were demanding payment. She knew that he did not have the funds needed to pay such a large debt, but she never realized how desperate he would become to save himself.

Her father had struck a deal with one of his creditors, Aidan Warrick. Jane would play a huge part in whether her father was to recover from his impending financial ruin. She was to with work for Aidan as a bondservant for seven years; this was hardly the life she had envisioned for her future.

Aidan was the new owner of Trevisham House. He had a secret vendetta to settle against Jane’s father and planned to use Jane as a pawn to get to her father. Jane knew that his dark brooding looks were not to be trusted. She could see he held many secrets and feared her association with him would be her downfall. For now he was to be the master and she was to be his dutiful slave. . .

Dark Prince is a true gothic masterpiece. The dark, haunting words cast a shadow that sends shivers down your spine. I was totally engrossed in this novel from page one. Eve Silver delivers the very best in the paranormal world. Very highly recommended.
