Fanged & Fabulous
The Toronto Vampires, Book 2
by Michelle Rowen
Rowan’s second book in the Toronto Vampire Series is a hoot. Sarah Dearly is back in action as a newly-made
vampire who is thigh deep in trouble. She is trying to re-ignite the passion between her and the vampire master
who saved her life in book one. Thierry is hot, handsome, and should be off-limits, but Sarah, in her
everything-is-going-to-be-all-right world, believes she can get him to divorce his centuries-year-old wife. Not
going to happen. But a girl / vamp’s gotta do what she’s gotta do for love.
Thierry is desperate to keep Sarah at arm’s or fang’s distance. She’s touched his heart in ways he thought
were impossible, and he will do anything to keep her safe, even from himself. But his
stubborn-and-innocent-in-the-way-of-vampires Sarah is more than a match for him, and he discovers that that can
be both a good and bad thing when she takes on one of the oldest vampires on the planet. Her quest to make
everything right and protect him, as well as her friends, gets sticky when Sarah puts herself in harm’s way to
rescue a kidnapped-and-about-to-be-staked Thierry.
Rowan’s character list is awesome, the humor is hilarious, and the ending of this delightful book only points
the way to the third in the series, Lady & The Vamp, coming out in 2008. |
