High Noon
by Nora Roberts
As Savannah’s top hostage negotiator, Lieutenant Phoebe MacNamara spends much of her time defusing dangerous
situations. Phoebe proves every day what a strong woman she is, either by working in her courageous but demanding
career, or dealing with her family. This is what first draws Duncan Swift’s attention when he sees her in action.
However, having a man in her life is not something Phoebe has been looking for. Although after being assaulted at
work, it is Duncan she turns to.
Duncan proves that he is true alpha male as he is determined to protect the woman he loves -a fact that doesn’t
set so well with Phoebe- but Duncan proves how dependable he is, as he does all he can to protect his stubborn
woman and her family.
High Noon is bound to be another Nora Roberts number one best seller. At least, that is this reviewer’s
opinion. Each character comes to life on the pages, pulling readers right into the action-packed and sensual
story. |
