Knight's Treasure

by Amanda Scott

Tragedy seems to follow Lady Adela Macleod around, especially when it comes to marriage. Abducted from her first wedding then rescued and widowed at her second wedding, Adela is beginning to think she is not meant for marriage and has given up hope of ever finding the kind of true love her sisters have found.

Sir Robert Logan, a Knight Templar, gave up his heritage years before to protect secrets from his father and brother. Now he is ready to take his rightful place as his father and brother are both dead. However, unknown enemies seem to know the secrets of the treasure and will try anything to get them. Somehow the lady he saved before has also become entangled, as she is being accused of killing her husband. Robert has fought his feelings for the lovely Adela as he knows the risks of their being together. However, now he must defend and protect her, and it seems they both must protect Scotland’s future.

Another masterpiece from one of the best authors today.  Ms. Scott has a gift for writing the Scottish romances that will have each character coming to life with each turn of the page, making this one book readers will not be able to put down until it is finished. Marvelous story.
