Secrets and Lies

by Selena Montgomery

Secrets and Lies by Selena Montgomery was a love story from all angles. I enjoyed the romance between Sebastian and Katelyn. Not only did it captivate me, but the mystery surrounding the two was mesmerizing. If you are familiar with Ms. Montgomery’s other books, you will know of Sebastian Caine from Never Tell and Hidden Sins and be relieved that he was able to continue his journey in this one.

The story begins when a murder is discovered by the heroine, Katelyn Lyda, and she has no choice but to run for her life. Sebastian gets involved by accident with the gorgeous Katelyn because she’s holding a gun and he’s staring right at it. Katelyn is frightened for her life, she has to trust someone, and Sebastian gets the prize.

Ms. Montgomery is a skilled writer. I love romance with a little mystery added; I am obsessed with the hero and heroine finding love, and thrilled to be a part of a captivating love story. I found this novel to be intriguing and very pleasurable to read. Ms. Montgomery has a very detailed writing style, and her adaptation of certain events and places made me feel that I was right there in the midst of Katelyn and Sebastian’s story.

So take a ride with Secrets and Lies by Selena Montgomery, and get into another romance filled with devotion, obscurity, mystery and a keen sense of being right there in the action with Katelyn and Sebastian.
