Silver Master
Ghost Hunter series, book 4

by Jayne Castle

This fourth installment in the Ghost Hunter series by Jayne Castle (actually New York Times best-selling author Jayne Ann Krentz) is a "Great Reads Guaranteed" selection by publisher Penguin Group. Indeed, it's impossible to imagine any fan of paranormal romance feeling dissatisfied with this book and demanding her money back.

In this story, set in the futuristic world of Harmony, a matchmaker named Celinda (along with her ever-present pet, a mischievous little dust bunny) uses her para-resonator skills to accurately find matches for her clients. Although plagued by a mysterious scandal, she has a well-deserved reputation for finding anyone a mate - except herself, unfortunately.

One day, a psychic security expert named Davis visits her office regarding a ruby red item she purchased for five dollars at an antique store. When Davis informs her that the item is an extremely valuable stolen artifact left over by aliens and must be returned to its rightful owner, she agrees - that is, before her dust bunny runs off with the item and hides it. Until they can once again recover the artifact, she and Davis must spend lots of time together, which neither one seems to really mind all that much. In fact, they actually enjoy each other's company far more than necessary for business associates. Silver Master expertly blends adventure, fantasy, and romance into an enthralling story that will keep readers riveted until the final satisfying conclusion.
