Kelly McKenna has dreams, set in different times, of blue-eyed and green-eyed men, rivals for her love. And in
every dream, one of the men always dies.
Kelly has also been stalked for years, via email, phone calls, and packages. And each stalking is accompanied
by a note from the stalker swearing he will find her because he loves her. Kelly, an investigative reporter for
the San Francisco Times, believes the harassment is just an obsession, until she sees the bomb on her car - one
that detonates seconds before she and her roommate, Susan, would have been killed.
Kelly and Susan meet with Detective Misha Campbell, who is fully aware of the threats. Kelly wonders if the
stalker is David, her ex-husband. When Kelly's boyfriend, Adrian, suddenly appears at police station and
persuades Kelly to go out for coffee, Susan stays behind and tells Misha that she thinks Adrian might be the
stalker. The detective, however, has ideas of her own regarding the stalker's identity.
Then Ryan Michaels, an agent with Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, arrives to investigate the car bombing.
Kelly recognizes him immediately as the green-eyed man from her dreams. Ryan checks out the home Kelly and Susan
share to insure they are safe and then departs, feeling certain that he and Kelly have met before.
As the investigation into the stalker continues, Kelly's dreams become more real. On his part, Ryan's
attraction to Kelly makes it difficult to keep her at a distance. Worse, the threats to Kelly's life intensify.
Who is out to kill her? And why?
Regan Taylor's Spell Across Time is an edge-of-your-seat romantic suspense. The characters are all
well-developed and the paranormal elements kept me spellbound until the very end. If you love an excellent
mystery and an even greater romance, you will love Spell Across Time. I look forward to reading more from
this highly talented author.
