Unfinished Business

by Karyn Langhorne

What can I say about Unfinished Business by Karyn Langhorne? The book was a masterpiece of fiction. I was hooked by the school teacher, Erica Johnson, and the Senator, Mark Newman. The chemistry between the two of them was incredible. The two meet when Erica challenges the senator with her views about certain issues. She makes her presence known by disagreeing with some of his policies, and Mark is challenged by her beauty.

Of course, danger alerts at every interval because someone wants Erica to keep her views to herself. Mark is also running for election, but his antics with the lovely and African-American Erica may just ruin his chances of being re-elected.

Unfinished Business is a romantic adventure of two people who are opposites and their attraction for each other. I can relate to Erica in every way. She’s a strong and gorgeous woman who stands up for what she believes in and asserts her presence. She’s not afraid to state her mind and face the consequences later.

I literally couldn’t put Unfinished Business down and was able to read the book in a timely fashion. I recommend this book to all romance lovers and readers; I highly anticipated the climax to the very end. Ms. Langhorne is a very talented writer. I am so impressed with Karyn Langhorne that I just ordered her debut novel, A Personal Matter.

This book hits the spot with five stars without a doubt. Unfinished Business is a book you need to have in your romance collection to talk about for weeks to come.
