Fifty years have passed since aliens first landed in Roswell, New Mexico. In a cancer hospital near there, terminal patients are leaving mysteriously, miraculously cured. As his wife lays dying in that hospital, Robert Clark witnesses these miracles, including one for the wife of a man who has become his friend. Hoping to discover a cure for his wife, Molly, he pursues a strange figure after seeing an eerie glow coming out of one of the rooms. His initial pursuit leads to nothing, but he enlists the aid of his new friend and of the son of his wife's doctor, who has died under suspicious circumstances. The three men uncover a government plot enslaving the aliens and so set out to free them, though it could cost Robert's wife her life.

This novel, though action filled, had a hard time holding my attention. The story is for those who enjoy a plot driven tale, not one long on deep characterization. Reminiscent of eighties science fiction movies, such as ET or Cocoon, fans of those movies will be well pleased.
