Calling all fans of
the hit SF series Farscape - this is the third novel based on the series
and Bischoff manages to capture the characters almost perfectly and spices
up what at first appears to be a fairly standard plot with more than a
hint of Lewis Carroll along with the inimitable humor that has made the
series so popular. Once again Moya is in trouble, caught by a strange
and vast ship that appears to belong to a mythical race of space farers,
the Nokmadi. The Peacekeepers are hot on their tail, led this time by
an old adversary of Aeryn's and just what is Rygel doing with those DRDs?
Set during the first half of the first season before the appearance and
disappearance of certain key characters it at first appears to be serving
up the tired old plot where the characters get caught by mind readers,
causing them to believe that they are back home etc and which almost all
SF series seem to dish up for at least one tie-in novel but Bischoff manages
to give all this a neat twist that kept the pages turning rapidly. No
easy feat, but neatly achieved and an entertaining addition to the series.
