The
Pixel Eye
By Paul
Levinson
In the
times after 9/11, America has been inundated by the fear of terrorism
and questions of where the next terrorist attack could come from.
In The Pixel Eye, Mr. Levinson creates a strange and unusual
source for terrorism: squirrels and hamsters of New York City. Forensic
Detective Phil D'Amato is brought back to investigate the disappearance
of New York City squirrels. What he finds is a scary threat to New
York City and the rest of America.
Despite
the strange and obtuse theories that are invented in The Pixel Eye,
Mr. Levinson continues to do a remarkable job in his writing skills
and clearly shows that he has a natural talent for writing. Mr.
Levinson has done a fantastic job in continuing to develop Phil
D'Amato's character which makes him a main character that is hard
to forget. Mr. Levinson's descriptions of the unique hustle and
bustle of New York City is right up there with Jeffery Deaver's.
This reader encourages Mr. Levinson to continue writing about Phil
and the unique cases that he seems to get caught up in. The Pixel
Eye is a great read for those who want to get away from the
scary reality and be given something to think and talk about with
others.
