Agent Nico Washalowski had a brain injury that left him with the inability to be brainwashed. Like the others Samuel Fawkes has injected with his stolen Huma, Nico died and was revived after two minutes, but he didn’t turn "revivor". That's how he found out he was immune. Now, he has recurring nightmares of being injected. Enemy Fawkes’ army of zombies is at his control and out to destroy the world. Revived corpses dominate the action of this fantasy book in which the underlying theme is even more sinister than the obvious.

Element Zero begins with Nico in a restaurant replaying the events of five years ago and quickly moves to the present where street fighting zombies are being controlled by a madman. Nico is on the prowl to stop him.

I am a huge fan of the Night of the Living Dead series and this book appealed to me because of its easy readability and similar theme. It is a zombie story with a new twist. I like it. If you are a fan of zombie cult fiction, you will wrap yourself up in this one. It’s been a long time since someone took the revived corpses on a new ride. Have fun with it, and expect to see a movie deal.
