that guarantee the reader will lose a lot of weight in a short period
of time, but follows what Ms. Havey did for herself in order to
lose a lot of weight. She is realistic in her goals and her advice,
emphasizing that this is clearly her approach and that it may not
work for everyone.
divides the book up into steps which she herself followed. She first
looked at her life and saw what had happened to her (divorce) and
what caused her to carry so much weight. She explains what she had
to do in order to incorporate a healthy lifestyle: drinking water
in place of soda and taking baby steps in exercise. She reemphasizes
throughout the book that it is an ongoing and long process in order
to lose weight in a healthy manner.
Havey includes several different and healthy recipes that could
appeal to any taste bud. She also includes resources that are helpful
to anyone trying to lose weight. This book takes a fantastic and
healthy approach to weight loss.
