I
Almost Missed...My Life
How to Break Through to the Life You Really
Want
By Debra
Russell
The author
Debra Russell has spent the last sixteen years teaching people around
the world how to experience the life they really want. Now she has
put this wonderful advice into an easy to read book to inspire us
all.
Debra
knows from whence she speaks. Her father sexually abused her when
she was very young. When she was sixteen, her mother divorced her
father. By the age of thirty-six, she had been married three times,
had two young children and was starting over again.
At this
time, Debra invented a test for herself, calling it The Rocking
Chair Test. She suggests that you sit in a rocking chair and pretend
that you are ninety-six years old. Look back on your life. What
do you want to feel?
She
wanted to feel that her life had been a wonderful thrill ride. She
then proceeds to tell what she did to regain her life, how she raised
two healthy children and got a career traveling and helping people
live life to the fullest.
Her
method is based on fifty-two secrets. One secret to work on each
month of the year. By working on these secrets the reader can create
a life filled with love, success, fulfillment and more. Debra encourages
the reader to keep a journal and to decide what they want out of
life. Learn a lifelong lesson: the joy of discovery.
After reading Debra's book I have decided to take the challenge.
I am going to try to better my life, I am going to keep a journal
and learn the fifty-two secrets, one week at a time. If nothing
else, I should develop a more positive attitude and a deeper understanding
of myself.
