The Little Abs Workout Book
By Erika Dillman

If you have ever tried getting the "perfect" abdominal muscles by doing thousands of crunches, this book provides insight on different types of abdominal exercises. This book shows several different exercises that do not focus on doing hundreds of crunches. It provides exercises using different fitness objects (medicine ball and stability ball).

This book focuses purely on exercises for abdominal muscles and briefly states that if anyone wants the six-pack look, they also need to focus on aerobic exercise. Any readers who pick up this book should expect that they would work their core muscles (abdominal muscles and back muscles) and not expect to get the six-pack look.

This book provides several pictures that demonstrate the different moves. Some exercises have several steps to them and more pictures could be helpful. Overall, this book demonstrates the different exercises that are available to work on abdominal and back muscles and without doing the standby crunch exercise.

It is a small, compact book that could be taken with an exerciser to the gym or easily used at home. The book describes which muscles the reader would be exactly working on in the exercises and explains the importance of working on these muscles.
