Aging is Not an Option
The
Baby Boomer’s 10-Step Guide to a Long and Healthy Life
By Andrew Keith
The
Baby Boomer generation is now aging and health problems are abundant.
Keith started his middle age with health problems that he did not
expect and did not like. As he struggled with his problems, he looked
at the demographics of today’s society and discovered that
he was not alone. In fact, the deterioration of the health of our
nation as a whole is rapidly decaying. This book is the result of
his search for better way of living and optimum health.
Keith
takes a humorous look at our life today with a tongue in cheek attitude.
His writing style is blunt and to the point, with no punches pulled.
He discusses three basic premises for this book: 1) There are 10
steps needed to improve your overall health. 2) If given a chance,
your body will heal itself. 3) You should be controlling the direction
of your life and your health.
Aging
is a normal process of life, but it does not have to be detrimental
to your health. Keith outlines 10 easy, logical steps to improve
your health, both mental and physical. Each step is discussed in
detail and is logical and easy to implement. The steps are general
and additional information is given in a helpful reference section
and website section. One argument Keith makes is that no one step
will be effective without the others as they interlink with each
other. He also advises readers to check with a physician before
implementing a major life change.
