Men
are from Mars, Women are from Venus
The classic
guide to understanding the opposite sex
By John Gray, Ph.D.
This edition
of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is a reprinted copy from
1992. It includes all of the classic chapters that try to help men
and women in relationships better communicate with each other. The
new introduction discusses how Men are from Mars, Women are from
Venus can still be used today, and how people have come up to Dr.
Gray to thank him for the help in their relationships. Dr. Gray
takes time to look at both men and women from their individual outlooks
(thanks to a lot of help from his wife, Bonnie Gray) and helps to
incorporate the outlooks within each other. Dr. Gray describes how
men and women communicate, and where their communication failures
usually falter. These can include when men need time for themselves
and withdraw into their "caves," and women's need to talk
about their feelings, sometimes in the heat of the moment. Dr. Gray
provides strategies to help men and women overcome differences in
communication and improve their relationships with each other.
