The Stress Cure
A
Simple 7-Step Plan To Help Women Balance Mood, Improve Memory, and
Restore Energy
By Vern S. Cherewatenko,
M.D. and Paul Perry
"Complete
freedom from stress is death" – Hans Selye, M.D., Ph.D.
This eye-opening quote was the first thing I read as I began reading
The Stress Cure. It make me pause and realize stress is the major
cause of many life-threatening conditions that claim millions of
lives each day.
How
can one hope to combat this silent killer as it slowly takes hold
of a person’s life? Being a woman, I am very aware of the
stress that I encounter each day. Some are minor occurrences that
take of very little of my days; other problems have kept me awake
at night.
What
I found so fascinating about this book is that it was written solely
for women. It features an easy to follow Seven-Step Plan that is
targeted at reviving the body’s chemistry and helping women
stop living in overdrive. This method includes a wide variety of
methods, including nutrition, mediation, exercise, and quality sleep.
I
found myself glued to each page and was eager to explore more. This
book contains life-balancing habits that deserve to be included
in any woman’s busy lifestyle. Very highly recommended.
