Victims No Longer
The
Classic Guide for Men Recovering from Sexual Child Abuse
By Mike Law
There
is finally a book that addresses a much needed problem: men who
are victims of sexual child abuse. Victims No Longer gives
practical advice on how to help men deal with being a victim. Victims
No Longer contains several personal anecdotes that allow for
readers who are victims to understand that they are not the only
ones who have to deal with this issue.
Mr.
Law, who is not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, provides
excellent points and advice to victims. Mr. Law has conducted several
groups and has seen several private patients that have dealt with
these issues, and much of Victims No Longer is based on what
he has seen and those whom he has helped. This provides an in-depth
look at issues of men who have been victims and some ways of trying
to deal with the sexual abuse. Mr. Law provides a great resource
section in the back for providers all over the nation.
Victims
No Longer should be picked up by anyone who has been sexually
abused, especially male victims, and any clinician who helps sexually
abused victims.
