A Gift for New Mothers
Traditional Wisdom for Pregnancy, Birth and Motherhood

By Deborah Jackson

New mothers or soon to be moms everywhere will want to grab a copy of A Gift for New Mothers. This is an enjoyable read of learning of older traditions from many cultures during pregnancy and after.

There have been many celebrations of the blooming of mothers during pregnancy, in many different countries each is celebrated a little differently.

You will find many proven facts on how instinctively new mothers will tend to hold their new babies near the heart immediately know how to breastfeed and rock the baby. These are just a few things that have always come instinctively to most new mothers.

I recommend this book to all New Mothers or soon to be mothers. Although my children are now teens, I enjoyed reading it. Now, I am going to pass this book on to my sister who has just became a new Mother and she will pass it on to my sister-in-law who will be a new mother this summer.
