The Jump Off
60 Days to a Hip-hop Hard Body

By Mark Jenkins with Jeff O'Connell

Mark Jenkins has worked out with several of the top Hip-Hop stars: P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, D'Angelo, and LL Cool J, to name a few. He is probably best known for helping P. Diddy train for the New York City Marathon in about 8 weeks. The Jump Off is his workout-training book to help regular individuals get the bodies that they see on MTV and BET.

The Jump Off begins with Mr. Jenkins' own personal saga with weight problems growing up in New York City, and how he got to where he is now with training well known celebrities. He discusses his military experiences and how his family life made an impact on him.

The Jump Off is better than some other fitness training books as it includes several pictures of the exercises that Mr. Jenkins recommends to do to get a solid body. These pictures include the different poses that one would need to do in order to complete the exercise. The exercises that are recommend are easy to do and do not require machines, which is a big plus for people who either don't have the finances or room for machine equipment.
