The
Rosedale Diet
Turn
Off Your Hunger Switch!
By
Ron Rosedale, MD, and Carol Colman
In
the field of nutrition and weight-loss, there are several books
and other media ways on how to lose weight. Dr. Rosedale has added
to the number of ways people can try to lose weight in a safe and
effective way. The Rosedale Diet focuses on the hormone
leptin and how, when that is in balance, weight loss will begin
and be successful. Dr. Rosedale believes, based on research with
his patients, that overweight people have trouble with their leptin
levels, and that can cause people to overeat and store fat rather
than burn the fat after they burn any carbohydrates they ingest.
Dr.
Rosedale proposes a 21-day diet plan in which people choose from
the "A" list (healthy fat foods) and then gradually add
foods from the "B" list (steak, fruits, beans, etc.),
along with 15 minutes of daily exercise. Included in The Rosedale
Diet is a 28-day menu along with some recipes that sound delicious.
The Rosedale Diet also includes statements from individuals who
have gone on the diet and have been successful.
In the days of Atkins, Weight Watchers,
and several other diet plans, The Rosedale Diet adds to
the diet plans. People interested in a different approach should
take a look at the Rosedale Diet and speak with their doctor.
