The Essential Walker's Journal
Your Companion to Weight Loss, Health and Personal Transformation
by Leslie Sansone
Although The Essential Walker's Journal is geared toward people who want a plan
and a way to stay on that plan to lose weight, this little journal offers much more.
There is very little text to the journal -the walker writes his/her own story. There
are several sections to keep up with numbers ("Record your Vital Stats") and a page on
how to interpret these numbers ("Read the Nutshells"), but the most appealing sections
are on "The Days Pages." "Thought for the Day" puts the walker in a positive frame of
mind that gets the day off to a positive start and hopefully keeps it that way. "A
Beautiful Thing" forces the reader to see some of those beautiful things that we tend
to overlook unless we are reminded to search for them. The "Dreamweaver" section allots
a page and a half for the walker to jot down his hopes and aspirations. In tough times
this page will be an incentive to the walker to keep focused and have a positive attitude.
This little journal is a good way to attain the classical condition of the body -a sound
mind in a sound body. This journal is a must for any walker who also happens to be a writer. |
