Leslie Sansone's Eat Smart, Walk Strong
by Leslie Sansone
As someone not familiar with Leslie Sansone and her previous work, I really found this
audio CD interesting and I just started walking regularly because of it. Sansone has great
tips for the listener. A lot of it is common sense but in this day and age, it's hard
to not know something about fitness and dieting. I found the Six Week plan, where a new
food and a different habit are introduced, very helpful. I like the way the little things
add up and that if you stick to it the results are great. This plan is really flexible too.
If you aren't particularly religious, you might be put off at first when she talks about
acknowledging what you are eating by saying a prayer but the message is to pause and to
be conscious of what you are eating. I found a lot of her tips on how to prevent mindless
eating and controlling portions helpful. The 3-cd set also includes some bonus material
on disk three. "Basic Steps," "Flex Questionnaire," "Perfect Support System", "Daily Missions"
(for the 6 week plan), and "Recipes" can all be found on the third disc. An internet connection
is required to see some of the topics. |
