Simple Abundance
A Daybook of Comfort and Joy

by Sarah Ban Breathnach

Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy is a book that allows the reader to take a relaxing break from their everyday struggles. It offers one-a-day essays overflowing with strength and courage to get you through darkest hours. You will want to incorporate the daily readings in this book into each new day. Each thought-provoking word radiates a calmness that sets the mood for a perfect day.

How I begin each day is by reading one of these memorable passages. I was surprised to have a piece of history return to me through this book. This makes my second copy of this book; in fact my first copy was over ten years ago as a graduation present.

I treasured this book for years, but I remember passing it on to a friend who was in need of its wisdom more than I was. Often I have thought about this book and if it changed the life of the person I gave it to. Once again it has found its way back into my collection, this time it will be placed on my keeper shelf.

For the second time around, I was able to feel the tranquility as I read each passage. To say this book is effective is an understatement. The old saying is you know it is a good book when it comes back to you a second time around.
