The Entrepreneur Diet
The On-the-Go Plan for Fitness, Weight Loss and Healthy Living

by Tom Weede

The Entrepreneur Diet, the new book by Tom Weede, former Senior Editor of Men's Fitness Magazine, is a welcome respite from the rash of diet books recently published. In a no-nonsense style he lays out the program for taking and keeping off weight in a sensible, methodical fashion. Real-life stories, shaded call-out boxes, and reader worksheets provide self-accountability. Recognizing that weight-loss is about more than re-educating ourselves about our eating and drinking habits, he explores the reasons we eat and why we defer exercising. Time-saver tips, black and white photographs, and one-minute summaries round-out this sensible book, one that is perfect for time-starved business people.

Physical and mental health of employees is a growing concern for productivity in the workplace. Chapter One takes off on a broad overview of this topic, one that over-worked Americans are discovering in greater numbers. Discussing our health capital is a worthwhile beginning to re-orient the potential weight-loser before he or she  dives into the meat and potatoes (lean and moderate portions please!) of moving away from fast-food and vending machines, and the whole self-imposed "I'll start tomorrow syndrome." With rising rates of obesity at all economic levels of our society, Mr. Weede's new book is a realistic companion to diet without all the hype. Gender-neutral, this book by Entrepreneur Magazine is a home-run for those serious about finding the old emotional and physical you under the excess weight.
