Mama Peavy says, “Women, It's OK to Marry an Ugly Man”
5 Good Reasons Why It's OK
by Mary R. Butler
Mary
K. Butler's alter ego, Mama Peavy, says, “It's OK to Marry an Ugly
Man”. In her 5 lesson How-to, Mama Peavy explains that God is in
control of our love connection, but it's OK if Mr. Right is not
God's gift to the ladies because an ugly man will serve a woman
better. He will be more faithful, hard working, and loving because
he is so grateful to have been picked. Mama Peavy Says, is a short
little instruction booklet that gives all women, who are having
trouble finding the right man, hope.
Whether
you believe the theory in this little gem or not, it is a fun book
to read during a lunch break. It's half nonsense and half truth,
but a touching daughter to mother letter in the last chapter is
endearing. Check out the contest in the back of the book to win
a dream wedding by writing an essay on what your perfect wedding
would be.
This
is the first in a series of six created from a comedic stage character
so look for more reasons in the future.
