How Successful People Think
Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life

by John C. Maxwell
Read by Chris Sorenson

The book, How Successful People Think, is the result of all the people the author has met over the years.  John C. Maxwell is an internationally recognized leadership expert and is also the founder of EQUIP and INJOY Stewardship Services.  In this book, he gives you a big secret, the secret for thinking successfully.

He says that if you change the way you think, you can change your life. He is the perfect one to write about this, for he knows many bosses, chairs of big companies, and leaders in various domains who have changed their lives. He became aware, after talking with them, that they all had one thing in common: the way they think.  Positive thoughts can make you better, not only with the people around you, but more importantly, with the way you envisage and act out your life.

He starts by summarizing the positive points to being a successful thinker. Then, he explains step by step all the benefits of the method.  For every assertion he gives, he includes a quote and a famous person known by not only successful people but also by people like you and me.  This is quickly followed by examples of the good that your change of mind can give.

The author is very accurate throughout the book. He first lists the positive points, and then gives the ways to achieve them.  You can strive with your mind to think creatively and to help and be helped by the people around you.

With How Successful People Think, you have all the ways to extend your mind, clarify your thoughts, and focus on what is important.  With this plan, you will be convinced to undertake everything you want and have the confidence provided by your own mind! The power is in your own head.

You will be flabbergasted by changes in yourself from simply working with this method. Afterwards, your life will be different because your way of thinking will be different. Also, your connection with the world, people, and events will be greatly improved.

The secret is to trust in your own capabilities and to trust in the power of your mind. After all, others have done it, so why can’t you?
