Cheiron's Warriors is based on the hit TV series Young Hercules. Young Hercules and his fellow cadet friends Iolaus, Prince Jason of Corinth, and Lilith have discovered that the leader of their Academy, Cheiron, has been kidnapped along with 11 other centaurs by a group of slave sellers. The Centaurs, outraged by the kidnapping have vowed to declare war on Corinth since that is where they were kidnapped. While Prince Jason tries to stop the angry centaurs from waging war on his kingdom, Herc, Iolaus, and Lilith try to rescue their mentor and his fellow centaurs from slavery.

I absolutely love this book. I am a big fan of Young Hercules so it wasn't hard to see how well the writer captured the movements and attitudes of the actors. The mixture of jokes and adventure with the serious situation is really intriguing and delightful to any reader. This book shows how talented the writers of the show and the books are. I strongly recommend this book for any young adult that loves fantasy, humor, and adventure.
