She would have been, too, if her mother, Katrina, hadn't refused to give her up, but that was when she was a baby. She was older now, and her mother is dead. Now she is not only crippled, but orphaned, and the target of some very greedy women who want her out of the village and her land for their own benefits. She's scared what the Council of Guardians will do to her but is shocked when they allow her to be represented by one of the wise members of the council named Jamison. She finds out more and more about herself, the power she has with threading, and everything around her. Will she be able to stay in the village and live as a respected citizen like the others?

This book is very interesting to read. The wording a bit confusing at times, but it shows the atmosphere and the setting really well. The characters are original and interesting. The concept of this book is amazing and something I've never seen before. I recommend this book for teenage fantasy lovers.
