What a truly magical story! This is the story of how one woman, Anna Chase, struggles to survive after the death of her husband and take care of her daughter, Brandy. She hopes to find employment, friends and someone special that she can spend the rest of her life with. Through her struggle, she creates a magical story about the Butterfly Girls for her daughter. The Butterfly Girls go through trials and tribulations like Anna is going through in her own life. Several times, Anna gets caught up in writing this story and making things work out for the Girls, just like she wants things to work out in her own life.

Ms. Grace does a wonderful job in telling the two stories. Her writing style is very easy to understand and is age appropriate. It is easy to understand when the story is about Anna's life and when it is about the Butterfly Girls. The ending leaves the reader wanting more and hoping to learn more about Anna, her daughter, and the Butterfly Girls.

If you have a little girl and want to show her that anything is possible, pick up a copy of this book and share the experiences of Anna and the Butterfly Girls with her.
