Have you ever had questions after seeing Peter Pan? Like how did Captain Hook become Captain Hook? Or why is Peter Pan named Peter Pan? How did the crocodile come to have a clock in his body? This is the book that can answer these questions and more. It is considered a prequel to the original Peter Pan. It tells the story of how Neverland was created and how Peter Pan and Captain Hook originally meet. It is filled with action, mystery, and some romance.

R. Scott Leatherwood does a great job in telling the story before the original story of Peter Pan. Leatherwood is able to show his imagination through the words of the book. He is able to remain true to the original Peter Pan and be able to talk about how Peter became Peter Pan. It is very easy to follow along in Peter's tales and adventures. Neverland could easily be written by the same creator as Peter Pan.

If you are a fan of the book "Peter Pan" or the Disney movie, this is a must have. Neverland can relate to both pre-teens and adults.
