What a fantastic read for any young woman who is going to college or is sexually active! This is the story of a young woman named Jen who is headed off to college to face her freshman year. Jen leaves behind the love of her life, Jim, who is off to his own school. They agree to continue to be together and visit each other frequently. Eventually, situations change for the worse for Jen. She is faced with making decisions that will affect the rest of her life.

Ms. Hyde does a wonderful job in telling this story from a young, 18-year-old female viewpoint. She keeps the story fresh and the situations very realistic to what truly happens in college dorms. The book is very fast-paced and the reader continues to want more of the story. The reader feels sympathy towards Jen and waits nervously for Jen's decision. The ending had a nice twist that was not fully expected.

This is a book that any young woman, who is sexually active or is entering college, needs to read. It provides true facts in great narrative way. The book does not lecture but provides a story of what could happen if one is not careful. A great story!
